As our Beverage Director, Marc comes to us with over 40 years’ experience in both hospitality and wine shops. Having passed Advanced Sommelier Exam with Distinction and gone on to be certified as a Spirits Professional, Marc brings his passion, his extensive travels and his bottomless curiosity to our little store.
Marc’s focus over the last few years has been circling in rented cars and bottles, glasses and notebooks the Pyrenees: from Bordeaux to Cognac to the Mediterranean through Catalonia to the foothills of the Basque, to Rioja and the beaches and restaurants of San Sebastian. He plans to make this vast and varied epicurean uber region the particular focus of our store.
Marc will be available on Friday Nights and Saturday Afternoons or by appointment throughout the week.
